Exposició Alegria

Exhibition presented at Els Hostalets de Pierola, entitled JOY, in July-August 2026.

Color plays a very important role; these are vibrant colors that complement each other and create an overall impression of joy. The portraits and flowers chosen reinforce this feeling.

The vibrancy of the colors when combined is a delight for the senses. Colors speak; each color combination expresses a mood. One color can soothe us, while another can stir us.

In this exhibition, I have introduced what I call “tabletop works.” These are small-scale oil paintings, watercolors, or crayons on paper. Here, I have allowed myself to paint flowers with greater freedom; painting from imagination, without following a reference, has been very stimulating because it has allowed the painting to express itself.
