Exhibition Regraciar

From 2 to 31 August (5 weekends). The exhibition hall is open to the public from Thursday to Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This is the third exhibition I’ve done at Can Puget. After THE HIDDEN FACE (2013) and AMANSINT BABOÏNS (2018). Now I present REGRACIAR: about 40 paintings of different formats. Most of them oil paintings, but also some watercolors.
In this exhibition, “REGRACIAR”, I touch on the topics that motivate me the most and make me pick up the brushes: people, flowers and animals. For me, the most important thing is how colors relate, how they vibrate, and that’s the magic of painting: from any theme you can reach the universal.
I would like my paintings to convey a positive vision of the life experience that we have to live. Painting forces me to see everything in another frequency. I am often amazed at how the work itself speaks to me and guides me, I start with an idea, but it takes me down another path. I continually have to do the work of letting myself be surprised and trust my intuition.
I believe that consciousness, knowing oneself, is the way, and I experience painting as a dialogue between what we are and what we still don’t know what we are. Artistic creation is pure, free, profoundly human. Any action done conscientiously is a work of art. Giving thanks is an invitation to celebrate life and give thanks for what we have.
