Negre sobre Blanc

Gouache on paper. 50x50cm. It was spontaneous; Although I didn’t plan for it, when I came across white paper and black paint to prepare a background, I couldn’t stop.

The contrast of these two colours takes me to the sensations experienced in the wonderful works of Chillida, Tàpies, Japanese and Chinese writing, Malevich,… and I enjoy this clear, crisp and forceful containment produced by them.
